Scope & Requirements

NMRC’s Biological Defense Research Directorate requires a professional moving and transportation service to securely remove, load, and transport designated scientific laboratory equipment. The following are required to meet the needs of this service:

  • Safe removal, securing, and transport of Five (5) Large Freezers.
  • Safe removal, securing, and transport of Three (3) Incubators.
  • Safe removal, securing, and transport of One (1) Large Sequencer (PacBio).

Requirements:

  • Vendor must provide all necessary labor, supervision, materials, and transportation equipment.
  • Vendor must have the ability to safely disconnect (if required) and remove the large PacBio sequencer from its laboratory location.
  • Equipment must be adequately secured, padded, and strapped within the transport vehicle to prevent damage.
  • Vendor must have capability to transport the equipment from the origin to the destination location.

Compliance & Qualifications

  • Offerors must be registered in Systems for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov per FAR 52.212.1.
  • All offers must also have a Unique Entity Identification Number at (SAM) at www.sam.gov and be able to submit invoices through Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF).
  • Lack of registration in SAM will qualify contractor as ineligible for award.
