Scope & Requirements

The Contractor shall provide residential furniture leasing services for the U.S. Embassy in Canberra, the U.S. Consulate General in Sydney, and the U.S. Consulate General in Melbourne, Australia, in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW) and all attachments incorporated into this contract. The prices set forth herein shall be firm-fixed and shall include all costs associated with performance under this contract, including, but not limited to, labor, materials, transportation, insurance, overhead, and profit. No additional compensation shall be authorized unless otherwise specified in writing by the Contracting Officer. The Government shall pay the Contractor a firm-fixed price for services that are performed in a satisfactory manner and in full compliance with the terms and conditions of this contract.

This is a firm fixed-price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity type of contract payable entirely in Australian dollars, as indicated in Sub-Section C. Pricing. No additional sums will be payable on account of any escalation in the cost of materials, equipment or labor, or because of the Contractor’s failure to properly estimate or accurately predict the cost or difficulty of achieving the results required by this contract, nor will the contract price be adjusted on account of fluctuations in the currency exchange rates. Changes in the contract price or time to complete will be made only due to changes made by the Government in the work to be performed, or by delays caused by the Government (see FAR 52.212.4(f), Excusable Delays), as determined and approved by the Contracting Officer.

The period of performance of this contract is for one base year with two (2) one-year options.
